#GivingTuesday (December 3, 2024) – International Day of Charity – has officially kicked off! We have a very important mission here at the Idaho Museum of International Diaspora (IMID): To influence positive community transformation. We believe in educating the community with the community – together. Whether we’re supporting communities in Idaho, or elsewhere across the nation or internationally, we do this by engaging with the community to understand what their interests are and creating cultural learning opportunities that give access to all generations and cultures to participate in. For this year's #GivingTuesday, our goal is set at $2,500. Please join our movement to connect communities to beautiful cultures and help us reach our goal. Thank you.
The IMID and enables creative opportunities for curious minds to learn about the human journey stories from around the world, discover their own personal connections to history and cultures, and explore how to become an active part of the community and relevant topics through the IMID’s educational and cultural programs no matter where they live. Join us to celebrate and participate in this International Day of Charity. No gift is too small, no matter which organization you decide to give to. Your gift will help us continue to offer our cultural programs, expand our educational offerings, enlighten minds, and encourage curiosity among those who thirst for knowledge on a local, national, and international level on topics related to cultures and diaspora – those who’ve been displaced from their origin homelands.
